Yarrowee Home Care offers Ballarat locals direct private support. Three-hour minimum visit. What you pay to change or cancel a visit is set out at the bottom of this page.
Morning Care
We provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and medication prompts. A carer helps you get ready for the day at home. Three-hour minimum booking.
$99 / hour
Domestic Help
From cleaning and laundry to meal preparation and the grocery run, we keep the house the way you like it. Three-hour minimum for all domestic home visits.

Respite Care
Company, or a walk around the neighbourhood, so a family carer can rest. We can support someone living with dementia who is settled with a carer they have not met before. If distress or aggression is part of the picture, we are not the right service, and we will tell you straight away rather than send someone who cannot help. Three-hour minimum per session.

Companionship & Outings
Company for a cuppa and a chat, a walk by the lake, cards, or the shops. If you have had a carer before, we offer them your next visit first. Three-hour minimum visit.

Three-hour minimum visit. Prices include GST where it applies. Personal care is GST-free, which is why it is listed lower on every day.
What a visit costs
3-hour weekday Morning Care: 3 × $99 = $297.
3-hour weekday Domestic Help: 3 × $109 = $327.
3-hour Saturday Morning Care: 3 × $129 = $387.
Your first visit includes 15 extra minutes for a set-up check, at no charge.
Changing or cancelling a visit
Every visit is booked on its own. There is no ongoing contract and no exit fee. What you pay depends on when you cancel. We aim to be fair to both our clients and our carers.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the start time incur no cost.

Cancel via your email link, in the Client Hub, or by calling 03 4329 0128. Same-day cancellations need a phone call.
Changing a visit
Changing a visit is a cancellation and a fresh request. There is no separate change fee.
If we ever have to cancel a visit, you are refunded in full straight away.
Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a remedy if the service is not provided with due care and skill.
